How do I slant the column heading in Excel?
I am trying to enter a name in the top row of a spreadsheet and want the name slanted along with the column heading without slanting or expanding the entire column.

Select the names in the top row.
On the Home tab of the ribbon, in the Alignment group, click the Orientation drop-down and select the desired orientation.
If you want a custom orientation, select Format Cell Alignment, then specify the desired orientation:
