Right-click in the pivot table and select PivotTable Options... from the context menu.
Tick the check box "Preserve cell formatting on update".
Click OK,
Right now I have a pivot table I have to update for every week because certain people in my organization prefer the data in that format.
Before the date is updated.... the format is correct
After the data is updated... the borders disappear.
Can anyone help me to format pivot tables?
