Assume A2 contains the course date. 12-month validity: Red =EDATE(A2,12)<TODAY() Amber =AND(EDATE(A2,12)>=TODAY(),EDATE(A2,12)<=TODAY()+60)

Green =EDATE(A2,12)>TODAY()+60 Apply via Conditional Formatting. Use 24 or 36 instead of 12 for 2- or 3-year courses.
