I'm sorry, but I've not had time, and still have a lot of questions trying to reconcile your Google sheet with the verbal descriptions. It would just take more work than I have time to spare right now.
- mathetesJun 02, 2022Gold ContributorI"ve taken another look, and frankly -- sorry to say this -- I just can't follow all the moving parts. As I've said above, almost from the start, it seems to me that you're making this more difficult than it needs to be. I notice, for example, that you acknowledge that column F in the master sheet is the same as column D. Then TAKE IT OUT, for heaven's sake.
More to the point, though, I don't understand all of the columns in the several yearly sheets, and the text entries are so utterly cryptic to me. I don't know how much of all that is redundant as well; i.e., how much of it can be eliminated and still contain the essential information. Yet this is the basic data that's being summarized in the master. So until that basic data are clarified, it remains frustratingly difficult to follow what I really do believe is ultimately fairly simple.
I would suggest you find somebody with whom you can meet in person, somebody who is knowledgeable about accounting, as well as about Excel...and work with them in person. - mathetesJun 01, 2022Gold ContributorOh, I'm so sorry. I can't this week...going on an important trip first thing tomorrow morning, a trip which will take the rest of the week. Possibly next week...
- Ana_M1212Jun 01, 2022Copper ContributorHello, that's okay; I understand 🙂 I've managed to buy another week time for dealing this situation. Can you help?
