Help Please: I need this to return the Sum not False

=IF(AND(B2>="7/1/2018"+0,B2<"7/8/2018"+0),SUM(W2:AJ2))

B2 is a Text Row

W2-AJ2 are Numbers

returns: FALSE

I need it to return the sum.

Any help is much appreciated!

    There is no ELSE part in your If formula:
    =IF(AND(B2>="7/1/2018"+0,B2<"7/8/2018"+0),SUM(W2:AJ2),ELSE PART GOES HERE)
    Also, testing for B2>="7/1/2018" is probably not giving you the result you would expect (A date later than or equal to July 1st, 2018 (or january 7th, 2018 depending on whether you are US or the rest of the world) as the test is currently doing a string comparison where "7/1/2018" is actually less than for eaxmple 8/1/2017

      Hi Jan, Thank you so much for responding. I had just figured out that I was missing the ELSE part when I got the notification.

      However it is now returning a 0(zero) instead of the sum.

      The dates have been converted to text and range from 7/1/2018-9/17/2018. I am attempting to group all dates 7/8/2018 and below in order to return a value from the selected row domain W2:AJ2.

      Would my current formula not return the sum from the specified row domain based on the text contents in B2?

      I can't thank you enough, this formula is the most complex I've worked with.

      Loving the Learning,

      Amber

        I expect it is because cells W2:AJ2 don't really contain numbers. Highlight those cells and see if any "widget" pops up, if so click it and follow instructions.
