header / footer: insert current date & current time
jsicNP In reference to the Page Setup screenshot you shared, just click the "Custom Header..." or "Custom Footer..." button. The dialog box that opens contains the buttons to insert Date and Time. The code used for Date and Time within Headers/Footers is &[Date] and &[Time]. Also worth mentioning, the date format used in Headers/Footers is based on the Regional & Language Settings on your computer and cannot be customize directly in Excel.
Switch to Page Layout view.
Click in a header or footer. This should activate the Header & Footer tab of the ribbon.
The Header & Footer Elements group of this tab contains buttons to insert the Current Date, Current Time and more.

I don't understand, I used to have this feature. It appears to have disappeared. Any suggestions?
