How do I create a rule in excel for when there is a certain code in one cell to place a certain number in the cell next to it? That way I can have a box with all of the numbers I need and it will automatically plug it into my spreadsheet?
That is called a formula. You might need a VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP formula, Without knowing more details it's difficult to be more specific.
