FORMULA TO TOTAL NUMBER OF DATES VERSUS JUST RAW NUMBERS

Question

Attached is a sample spreadsheet to keep track of the activity incurred by participants in a club.

In Cells C8 and D8, I want to see a TOTAL for the number of dates they were active. Can I install a formula to count that for me, versus my manually inserting 4 or 5 (in this example)?
