Formula instead of Value
I am sent a spreadsheet every month that I need to use to calculate values. I put my formula in the cell: if (e2=0,7.25,e2*7.25). When I hit enter, nothing happens. The cell just shows the formula. My guess is there is a setting somewhere in this particular worksheet that causes this to happen, but I am unable to find it. I have a deadline, so SOS ASAP. Thanks!
I don't see a "=" in front of your formula but assuming it is there then I am guessing the cell format is set to TEXT. Go to the cell format and make sure it is set to GENERAL (or something other than TEXT) when you paste the formula into the cell
