Formula Help!
I am trying to do a spreadsheet where the user enters the final retail price and we know the tax rate - what formula will figure the base retail?
In other words, if I know the tax rate is 20% and the final, ticketed retail is $20, what formula gets me to $16.67 which is the base retail??
- = retail / (1+taxRate)
Using 365 'retail' could reference an entire array of values.
