Formula for Future Dates "IF"
I want to create a formula that will highlight a date based on an entry date and type.
Example.
IF entered AAA on August 23, 2024, after 18M months it is flagged
IF entered BBB on August 23, 2024 after 24 months it is flagged
Is this possible and any recommendations on how to complete the formula? I've failed a few times.

Yes, it's possible. But one thing about formulas: they need to be pretty precise in order to work. And to be precise, what they're being asked to do needs to be stated with precision. What you want to do is no doubt clear to you, but the description you've given us is, in fact, ambiguous.
For example, what is the "it" that is to be flagged? Is "it" the "AAA" or the "BBB," or the dates, or the entire row in which those--presumably--two different entries are made? Or is there, in the bigger picture, a lot of rows with lots of different dates, and you're entering up at the top of the whole list those mysterious letters "AAA" or "BBB" with the expectations that dates that were 18 or 24 months in the past will be highlighted? Those all are possible interpretations of your description, and the formulas could vary considerably, the conditional formatting (if, indeed, that's the source of the "flagged" that you have in mind) could vary considerably.
You've had over 60 views and no replies; I suspect the ambiguity may be why. So help us help you by giving us more clarity. If you can, even post a copy of the worksheet you've got, putting it on OneDrive or GoogleDrive with a link here, if you're not able to post it here directly.
