Formula for calculating dates

Hello all-I hope this is fairly simple for all of you Excel wizzes!  I am looking for a formula that when I enter a date into the cell, it will calculate 9in a different cell) the timeline.  For example, if I put in date 10/11/18 into cell B3 and the expected timeline is 30 days, I want the formula to calculate 30 days from 10/11/18.  And for a more difficult one, if there is a range given, for example 2-4 weeks, I want it to give the range of possible dates, based on the original date entered-so calculate 14-28 days from 10/11/18.  any help/advice is appreciated!  Thanks in advance!

    You could try something like the attached sample.  The method you are determining the range was unclear, so I am using two additional columns.  Minimum and Maximum range.  If Minimum is left blank, the Due shows only a single date.  It doesn't have much in the way of error checking, but I think it accomplishes what you are asking for
