Formula bar refresh issue

Hello,

as from the attached video, If I select a cell, with mouse or arrow keys, the formula bar remain blank.

After a cell selection, if I click on the formula bar (edit mode) there are two behaviour:

  • If the cell contain data (text or numbers), the promp appears placed like a text is present but it's not visible. If a refresh is forced (for instance pressing the Office button) then the data appears in the portion of screen refreshed.
  • If the cell contain a formula, entering the edit mode the formula is visible

In both cases, exiting the edit mode (for instance clicking the ESC key) the formula bar revert to blank

    Hello,

     

    I don't know if the following will solve your issue, but may be you can give it a try.

     

    In the Excel options (in Excel 2010, Start / Options) and in the Advanced section, check the checkbox for disabling the hardware graphics acceleration. If this helped, may be you can also check if your drivers for your graphic card are up to date and then try to re-enable the graphics acceleration.
