Formala in excel

Help me please my mind has gone blank on me. I am trying to write or find the formula to locate a item in excel the cost of the item and then total sum of that item sold throughout the spreadsheet. 

Example... I have 5 employees entering in refunds or credits into a spreadsheet and I wanna know how much each agent does every month.
