Finding the access time when accessed using formula

Hello,

I am not sure if it's a correct community for this question.

When a file is accessed, it logs last accessed date. It can be found by checking the file properties (right click on file -> Properties).

If we have two spreadsheets A and B; and we have a formula in spreadsheet A referencing to spreadsheet B. It doesn't update the access date. Is there any other property that gets updated when accessing another file using formulas?

Thank you.

Based on what you have described, I don't believe you'll be able to tell if Spreadsheet A is accessed via a formula in Spreadsheet B.  I may be wrong, but as far as I know, there are no other date properties that  will give you the result you require.
