Filter does not work, Help

I have a column of percentage values both positive & negative. I have used descriptive analysis on them & Have a total count. 

When I try to filter greater than 0 I do not get a count & when I filter less than 0 I get a count for the whole column.

I have tried with fresh data & a new spreadsheet same problem.

Help please this is driving me nuts.

    Is it possible for you to post a copy of the workbook in question?

     

    Your description is both specific and vague--so without seeing what you're working with, one can only guess.

     

    For example:

    • Is it possible that your "numbers" have the appearance of numbers but are, in fact, text?
    • What's the connection (if any) between the "descriptive analysis" that you mention  and the lack of count?
