Excell Discount Formula

I have a workbook with 20 sheets or so and they are all estimate sheets and I am looking to apply a discount in the sheet based on manufacturer code in column B and have is apply discounts in column R if column Bs manufacturer code matches the one in the formula. I wrote it on a single line for testing and I am not getting it to work. Currently it is: =IF(B36="FUL",R36/1.4,R36*1). I am not getting an output anywhere, but when in the insert function screen I can see the output as being correct.

If the result is there and you can't see it, it is probably a formatting issue.

Can you site what is in R36?

I don't know exactly what you intend to do, since no exact dates have been given, but the formula should look like this.

    =IF(B36="FUL",(R36/1.4),(R36*1))

With your permission, next time I suggest you provide more information.

You'll get a quicker and more accurate answer, and those who want to help don't have to invest time guessing the problem.

What I recommend: Always inform your plans about the Excel version, operating system, storage medium/hard drive, OneDrive, Sharepoint, etc.). If possible, add a file (without sensitive data) and use this file to describe your project step by step, or add photos with the appropriate description.
