Excel
I have recently bought a new Mac book air and loaded excel. I cannot get excel to recognise decimals in any simple formula - what have I done wrong ? thanks

Heather1355 When you say "cannot get excel to recognise decimals", perhaps your Mac expects to see a decimal comma in stead of a point or vice versa. Check and change the Language & Region settings (Advanced) to what you want them to be.

hi thank you - I did as you suggested now it’s just showing the formula in the answer box not the answer ?

Heather1355 Did you perhaps press the "Show Formulas" button on the Formulas ribbon?

Heather1355 Would need to see the file. Can you share it via Onedrive? Or send it to me via a direct message.
