Excel workbook top way too big Can't see rows and columns

Somehow my setting got changed and only can see some of the functions in the sheet and are way oversized. Can't see the rest of the top half of the sheet with the formula's and other functions and can't see the actual worksheet to enter any data.

  • If it is the formula bar you can click the arrow/carat in the upper right corner to reduce it back to 1 line:

    or click ctrl-shift-U

The first thing I'd check is this little sliding setting at the bottom right of the Excel window.

The other place to access that same setting is in the tool bar associated with View

The zoom only changes the size of the rows and columns. My problem is the top above the worksheet with all the workbook tools. It's like it's on 250 times zoom. Same with the sheet tabs at the bottom...super big like zoomed.  I know I am probably not explaining this well. I have used Excel quite a while and never had the problem. Just opened the workbook to use with no problems. Now I can even see all the functions on top or bottom because they are displayed like they are zoomed.  Frustrating the heck out of me.
