NikolinoDE Thanks but the tool does very little to address Excel issues. It was of no help. Other ideas?

  Try Safe mode start first (if you haven't tried that yet).
  Then I would disable all AddIns to see if that fixed the problem.

    I have the exact same problem on a new Dell XPS 9520 with Win 11 Pro build 10.0.22621 and running Excel in Microsoft 365 Version 2210 (Build 15726.20202 Click-to-Run). The assistant is uselss, as it always happens.
