Apologies for the delay in reply. I have checked the settings on Adobe Reader, both the normal version and the pro, but am still getting the same results. I have also tried the online converter Adobe offers but that did not work. What settings are there in Excel to look at that would effect exporting sheets to a PDF? Do the page settings change depending on the user?
Because the user who is having success is the one that is also setting the page settings/templates - so would it be possible that even though it is the same document in SharePoint being accessed, the page settings are dependent on the user and therefore will be off when exporting to Adobe?

The only thing left in my mind is to adjust the graphic card settings of the respective computer.
At the same time, you could check the respective dpi settings of the respective computer to see whether the printer settings differ depending on the PC.Adobe PDF conversion settings
Otherwise, I'm at my wit's end, you would have to have access to the respective PC to go through the details again.
Thank you for your understanding and patience
