Excel Templates floating tips

When I have used provided templates I can't seem to be able to remove or hide the Yellow tips/comment boxes from the workbook. I have searched all over and can not figure out how to remove them. any ...

Hi Tricia,

This is one of the https://support.office.com/en-us/article/apply-data-validation-to-cells-29fecbcc-d1b9-42c1-9d76-eff3ce5f7249 options.

To remove it, select the cell that has such a tip box, then go to:
Data >> Data Tools >> Data Validation

From the Data Validation dialog box, click Clear All and then hit OK.

Also, to see the source of this tip box in the Data Validation, select Input Message.
