Excel tab is not moving to next cell
Dear All, thank you for your time.
The Excel in one of my PCs has a new behavior when I am editing the content of a cell and then hit tab. Instead of moving selection to next cell, it selects the field with cell name. If I hit tab again, it moves selection to insert function button. If I hit tab again, it selects formula bar. If I hit tab again, it goes back to cell name field and keeps this cycle.
Is there a way to revert it back to moving among cells?
I have already tried to reset Excel and reset PC. I also tried to check and uncheck Lotus compatibility. Additionally, I tried deactivating the scroll lock (arrows still have default behavior).

- Found the solution.
It was something related to the LG OnScreen software that comes with LG ultrawide monitor.
Uninstalled and the problem is gone.

Thank you all who spent time checking this post and trying to find a solution.I just started using an LG monitor and noticing this Excel tab issue as well. It's really affecting my productivity in Excel. Could you be more specific about how to find and uninstall this? I don't seem to have anything listed in the add/remove programs section of Control Panel.
I just started having the same problem with the tab not moving to the next cell. It is happening on all my excel sheets, I have not changed equipment and have the same monitor. I've tried resetting the keyboard which didn't help. My num lock is not on. Anyone have any other suggestions?

» This behavior occurs only in Excel. In all other apps, everything is fine. I have also tried a different keyboard and there was no change.

• Scroll button active? If yes, disable.» What is scroll button? Is it scroll lock? If yes, it is disabled. Tried enabling and didn't work. Tried disabling again and still doesn't work.

Additional questions: does this only happen in a specific file or in all files in Excel?
Which Excel version, operating system, storage medium is it?If it is in all files, I would do the following steps in advance.
Perform an update, then a repair, then start in safe mode, then deactivate all add-ins.
Then = if the previous step didn't work.If all this does not help, it would be an advantage if you insert the file (if it is only about one file and without sensitive data please).
