Excel Survey Option Missing from Excel Online
Some of our users have reported that they are no longer able to create Excel Surveys from within Excel Online. I've spot verified that the option does appear to be missing. I'm searching to see if this has been deprecated. Attached represents what we use to see. Thanks for any input!

Hi Kunal,
Perhaps that's another issue - Excel Survey was updated on Forms https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Create-a-form-with-Microsoft-Forms-4ffb64cc-7d5d-402f-b82e-b1d49418fd9d?ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US#PickTab=Excel_Online
- Jack Schofield IiiCopper ContributorSo survey option is begin replaces with forms.
Note: We are currently updating this feature and rolling out changes, so you may not yet see the Forms button. If you see the Survey button, learn more about surveys in Excel Online.

I've read all the article websites about this and followed every troubleshooting steps to be done but it never appeared again on my tenant. Any other suggestions or fix about this (Survey button disappeared in the ribbon)?

I had once that I was missing the button for the survey.
After some investigation I realised I made an adjustment in the admin.onedrive.com
On the share tab There is an option for anonymous access.
At file permissions and folder permissions you have to select by both view and edit.
I changed those settings and after the change the make a survey button dissapeared.

Thank you so much for this! It's now working for me!

Are you saying you don't see the Survey button at all?
In the screenshot you are showing the button. The reason it doesn't have New Survey option is because you already created a survey in this spreadsheet. If you create a new spreadsheet it should just show the option to create a new survey.

I never used Surveys, thus can't say how it was before, but now i see no Survey button in the Ribbon as well.
Perhaps the issue is the same as with SPO site collections No Excel survey option when you click +new in a SharePoint Online library. Survey requires anonymous sharing. In our tenant it's prohibited, and even if we have New->Excel Survey menu item for OneDrive, Excel itself disables functionality.
I didn't play with OneDrive Admin Center to check above, just my guess.
- Azral_Mohd_YacobCopper ContributorThanks Sergei, your guest is right. For those of you who do not see your Excel Survey option while editing your Excel Online, please approach your Office 365 Global Administrator and get him/her to make the following changes.
Global Administrator logins on to O365. Go to Admin Centers, click OneDrive, click Sharing.
Let users share SharePoint content with external user [On]
Users can share with:
Set this to: [Anyone, including anonymous users]
Let users share OneDrive content with external users [On]
Users can share with:
Set this to:[Anyone, including anonymous users]
Further down you can set your own Default sharing links
My case I set it to:
* Internal - only people in the organization
Anonymous access links:
Links expire within
[0] days
File permissions
[View and edit]
Folder permissions
[View, edit and upload]
What can external users do
I do not check for the following:
[ ]External users must accept sharing invitations using the same account that the invitations were sent to (* I do not check)
[ ]Let external users share items they don't own (* I do not check)
Click Save.
It solved for me and my colleagues. Excel Survey options reappeared again while editing Excel Online.
Good luck !!

The picture reprents what we had previously. When in OneDrive, + New Survey only creates a standard excel workbook. When creating a new Excel Workbook, the survey button/option is no longer available.
Kind of strange...

We are experiencing this too. We used to be able to create Excel Surveys but now the Create Survey button just create a standard Excel worksheet with no survey tools.
