Excel Stock Data not Loading
Does anyone face issues with the Microsoft Excel Stock Prices and Data not loading on 16th March 2023?
srr4791 20 March 2023 : Thank you, most of the Stock Tickers working. I would like to have the COMP and DJI also working. Appreciate your assistance.
If you use DJI and COMP as symbols under stock description you can get Price 52 week hi and low values in your excel spreadsheet. Other entries do not apply such as P./E, market cap, % change after hours, volume and beta.

At 11:10 AM EST nothing is working for me. Looking at the "Last trade time" in the stock table, which is supposed to be EST, the times make no sense. They are all times in the future and hours apart for actively traded stocks. This feature is still completely broken.
- Im in the eastern time zone -- I adjust all the times by 4 hours as they are GMT -- before the time change a week ago I adjusted all times by 5 hours
- OK, thanks. So if it's GMT, several stock times are correct, ~3:25PM. But several are also around 11:30PM, including AMD and ARKF (but not ARKK or ARKG).
- all but one of of my 50 plus securities is updating -- not sure why the one is not updating -- of course its my biggest holding
- I don't believe dividends is one of the options available -- you can see all the options when you use the dropdown menu when clicking on the security
- glad to know many people use this feature for their dashboard and regular price checking 😉 without using their mobile 🙂
Ok. Overnight changes appeared in my file showing mostly negative results indicative of the trading day on Friday. The true test will be Monday at 9:30am.
- It look like my spreadsheet is finally workfing as of around noon today - Saturday, All prices look updated with Firday's closing prices.

- I guess after they ticked the box in response to Googlefinance they forgot that somebody needs to be accountable for it. You would think that at least one senior manager was using it to check on their $MSFT fortune, but apparently, no one in the company uses it.
and whats the reason according them, any explanation?
- Anyone know a way to reach out to Microsoft about this issue. Or, does anyone know of a site that Microsoft my update with current issues
- I already tried, using their tech support, they were useless, suggested I install an older version of Office as a workaround, someone tried that, it did not help. We just have to wait for their "engineering team" to fix it.
- There might be a way to save my project by adding a data connector to another provider. I hope I don't get fired like the engineer who, ironically, used to look after stock data at MS. <not really, but I sure feel that way. These frequent FUs have got to stop.>
- Same issue for me. It's been several days.
