Excel Stock Data not Loading
Does anyone face issues with the Microsoft Excel Stock Prices and Data not loading on 16th March 2023?
I already tried, using their tech support, they were useless, suggested I install an older version of Office as a workaround, someone tried that, it did not help. We just have to wait for their "engineering team" to fix it.
There might be a way to save my project by adding a data connector to another provider. I hope I don't get fired like the engineer who, ironically, used to look after stock data at MS. <not really, but I sure feel that way. These frequent FUs have got to stop.>
Sad fact.. I ended up connecting to a different data source and managed to get just price into my project, resulting in extremely limited functionality and hours of wasted time. Every time these connectivity problems happen, and that's at least 5 times I am aware of, each time there is no apparent awareness on MS's part, of any problem at all. It boggles the mind.
