Excel spreadsheets

I need to run a regression analysis, and how my instructor explained it, you are to go to data, drop down to statistics, then over to regression, and that's not coming up for me. I've found the statistics in the formula section, but the option to choose regression is not there. I've been beating my head for 24hrs. Ple
