Excel Formats my values without conditional formatting
I have a spreadsheet. When I enter values, the color of the cell turns green. There is no conditional formatting. Where does the formatting come from?

It is possible it is from a macro but are you sure there isn't conditional formatting? When you go into conditional formatting window it defaults to only show 'this selection' and try using that drop down and show entire sheet.

Thanks, but not using Macros and no conditional formatting on the "This Worksheet" selection.
- mtarlerJul 11, 2022Silver Contributorso the file is a .xlsx (not .xlsb or .xlsm)?
also can you clear the formatting?
and are you on desktop or in the web version? mac or pc? what version?- SantaMillsJul 11, 2022Copper Contributor- It is .xlm but no Macros
- I saved it as .xlsx - same problem
- If I clear the formatting on .xlsm (also .xlsx) then the automatic formatting does not happen with new data entered
- I would still like some fields to be formatted, but not by default
