Excel date formula for AM & PM at same date (for one month)
- Sep 18, 2024
Enter 1-Oct-2024 in B4.
Enter the formula =B4+0.5 in C4.
Fill to the right from C4.
Select the entire range and apply the custom number format j/m/aa AM/PM
Format the cell as a date and time:
First select the cells or area you want to have the format, then…
Right-click the cell and choose Format Cells.
Under the Number tab, select Custom.
Use the format: dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm AM/PM or mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm AM/PM depending on your region.
This will display the date with either AM or PM next to it.
Hope this will help you.
Thanks for your quick answer but it seems that i didn't understood well, or it doesn't work as i would like.
I managed to put the right date in B4 but when I try to expand it on the right i woud like 01/10/24 PM.
I went to cell to customize but the result doesn't feet.
And in D4 i woul like 02/10/24 Am, in E4 02/10/24 PM... til the end of the month.
