Excel cursor continuously moving
From this morning when I open any spreadsheet in Excel, the spreadsheet is not visible and the cursor is being taken to the bottom right corner of the spreadsheet. In other words, maximum column designation.
If you Ctrl Home the cursor returns to A1, as soon as you tough any key off it goes again.

In advance,
does it only happen on certain worksheet?
... with a certain table within the worksheet?
Knowing the Excel version, operating system and, as far as possible, a file (without sensitive data) or attaching a photo would be of great advantage to offer you a quick and more precise solution proposal.Nevertheless, here's an attempt:
How to stop your arrow keys in Excel (fron German in English tralate)
Use the arrow keys on your keyboard to jump quickly with the cursor into the different cells of your Excel worksheet. To prevent this from happening, there is a key with a lock function on your keyboard. Since the keyboards vary, it is possible that the designation or the position of the key is slightly different from that described below.
On common keyboards, the key is usually either "Scroll" or "Scroll Lock". Sometimes the term "scrolling" is also chosen. We use the term "roles" in the following.
Very often you will find the "Scroller" key in the same row as the function keys. Mostly relatively far in the right corner of the row of keys and often as a second assignment.
If it is a question of a second occupancy, you also have to press the function key to activate the "lock function". The function key is usually abbreviated as "FN" and is usually located in the lower left corner of the keyboard.Hope this information could help you.
Wish you a nice day.

Thank you for the comment.
For your first comment. I am on a Microsoft 365 subscription.
Microsoft® Excel® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2111 Build 16.0.14701.20240) 32-bit
The issue has since resolved itself. But for your info I provide the following.
Spreadsheet:
- All spreadsheets, old, new, archived
- Only occurred whilst the cursor was located within the cell area of the spreadsheet. If the cursor was placed in the menu, quick tools area, or on another screen, then you could press Ctrl Home the cell highlighted would be A1 and everything was stable.
- If you manage to open a spreadsheet without the cursor in the cell area, there were no issues, until you introduced the cursor.
- I was able to carry on working by using the keyboard and shortcuts.
- As long as I remembered not to introduce the cursor to the cell area everything was fine.
Other programs:
- Word, Powerpoint, unaffected
- File Manager, when the cursor was in the folder window to the left, it would scroll to the bottom of the file structure uncontrollably.
- On the Windows home screen when you pulled up the list of the programmes available it would scroll to the bottom of the list.
Physical Setup:
My equipment is a Surface with station, 3 additional screens, wired keyboard, and bluetooth mouse.
- I disconnected the keyboard and no change.
- I replaced the Bluetooth mouse with a wired mouse, no change
- Went back to original hardware setup and back to work, trying to remember to keep the cursor out of the cell area.
Resolution:
I needed to travel remotely from my office, and work. Only hardware was the surface and the keyboard cover, and bluetooth mouse and keypad.
- Operation was per normal. Cursor did not impact badly on spreadsheet, or file manager.
- I operated this way for several hours without incident.
- On returning to home office, connected via the desk station as per normal, started up and everything was working as normal.
So unfortunately it is resolved but we are none the wiser as to the cause.
Appreciate your assistance.

Thank you in advance for your feedback, I really appreciate it.
At the same time, I am pleased that the problem no longer exists, even if the reason before and after cannot be understood.
Murphy's law always says: When an error has been detected and corrected itself, it will turn out to be correct from the start.
Also wish a Happy New Year ... or happy and healthy days :).
