excel created in wrong language

Question

When I right click and create a new excel, it is created in arabic language

I see, that's another story. If on my computer I'd reinstall the Office. First Repair, I doubt that helps, after that with clean re-installation as described here&nbsp;https://support.office.com/en-us/article/repair-an-office-application-7821d4b6-7c1d-4205-aa0e-a6b40c5bb88b

An in any case it's worth to send a frown. No warranty someone answers, buy Microsoft tracks them.

Press Alt + F key and then press "T" work. It will open the Options and then you will see language in left which is 5th Option. Here you can change the language from Arabic to English or you may remove Arabic. Just select English and it will work. Hope it helps 🙂

jukapil&nbsp;thanks for the quick response. i check this before posting here. it was English. for peace of mind, I removed other languages and moved the english to the 1st and 2nd option. still no luck

jankajg&nbsp;seems from your menu that you are set to English already. You just need to change the Display Options for column under advanced option. Please see attached image.&nbsp;and change the tab name to english. Thats it. You are good to go
