Excel adding

My Excel has stopped the add function on one or more spreadsheets. When making an add formula, it will add correctly, but then any changes do not affect the output/answer. Any ideas on what is going on? I have used these sheets for years with no issues.

  • Just check your calculation is set to automatic. Via The formulas tab

      I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your quick helpful response. It was direct and solved my issue which kept me awake last night. How the setting got changed, I have no clue, but your information was spot on! Again, thank you so much!!

        You’re welcome Bruce, sometimes it can get turned off by opening a file and running a macro that isn’t set up quite right, or a crash triggered by an addin.
