Excel- Delete numbers and specific characters and keeping words

Hello everyone,

I have a problem with finding a formula.

There is this this column, all cells have specific different words, some cells have only words, others have words and end up with "(2)" or "(3)" or, etc.

I want a formula to delete the "(#)" and only keeps the words.

    Hello,

    A sample of such file will be fine to upload so that we can see how the data looks like and provide best possible solutions

    If some cells end with (number), then use this formula:
    =IFERROR(LEFT(A2,
    FIND(“(“,A2)-1),
    A2)
