Excel - Wrong Interface

Hi everyone.

I am just having the following issue with my Excel 2019.

All of a sudden the program's interface changed.

Below a list of the differences I identified:

- Document title in Title Bar not centered

- Menu Bar changed from green to grey

- Quick Access Toolbar is now between two vertical bars

- Scroll arrows are now grey, not the classic white

- Toolbar format changed. Now it has like a soft contour.

I have not updated the program, nor any recen Windows update.

The weird thing is that other Office programs are looking just fine (Word, Power Point).

I have already tried to uninstall Office package and reinstalling it.

But the interface remained the same.

Any thoughts? Find below some images.

EXCEL DISPLAY

WORD/POWER POINT DISPLAY

This is caused by an update rolled out earlier this week. I think it was done to bring Excel more in line with the Windows 11 interface, and I suspect that the other Office applications will follow suit sooner or later.

      Hans thank you very much!

In that case, do you know how can I revert this update?

I was not able to find any record in Windows Update.

You'd have to roll back Office to a previous update, then block Office updates, but I wouldn't recommend it.

It's better to get used to the changes.
