error in excel, getting the wrong number i need 121,377 but excel gives me 121.377
is there anyone that can help, i cant seem to find my mistake, to correct i. i am making a budget, so i need to right numbers, please let some be online that can help
The number shall be 121377 in any case, how it is shown depend on regional setting for the opened workbook.
Jgvan30 It's probably just that you need switch the comma and dot as separators, as described in this help topic - Change the character used to separate thousands or decimals - Microsoft Support.
If that's not it, then please provide more detail. Are you simply typing the number into a cell?
