Dynamic dashboard dropdown that includes headers from main data table

How do I link my column headers from master data table to a drop down menu that will dynamically change the data in my main dashboard to reflect the data under the various categories of services we offer that are included in the header as categorical? I tried a pivot table with slicers but I cannnot make a slicer from table headers without the data showing up as the selection criteria. I just three main headers that manipulale the chart.  I dont't no VBA nor Macros. Sorry. I'm learning. Thank you. Hope someone can point me in the right direction.
