Don't know why: excel was unable to update the PivotTable on the worksheet while my colleagues can
Could you please clarify are you and colleagues use exactly the same file on exactly the same Excel version and do refresh by the same way (e.g. Refresh All or refresh of particular PivotTable) ?
If there are cells in use below or to the right of the pivot table, either clear those cells or move them out of the way, then try refreshing the pivot table again.
