Dates not matching with formula and conditional formatting
Hello. I am having real difficulty with conditional formatting for dates.
I am trying to highlight dates that fall on a weekend or a bank holiday. But for some reason the conditional formatting is highlighting the day prior.
I have fixed the weekend by increasing the formula by 1 (which is not ideal but worked).
But bank holidays are just not showing correctly.
I have put the next bank holiday in column A (26th Aug) but the spreadsheet highlights the 25th.
Any ideas?

You have selected entire rows for the "Apply to" range.
A row begins in column A, so your formulas should refer to A$2 instead of B$2.
