DATEDIF and February date

Hi

 

I'm using the DATEDIF function to calculate the number of months left on a contract from a start date of 30/11/22 - you can see in the far column that Excel returns two months for contracts that en don 31 Jan and 28 Feb? The third column is also using DATEDIF and recognises the extra month (though I have added 1 month on in the formula. Any ideas?

 

Start date        End Date      Length     Remaining months

01/12/202231/01/20232.002.00
01/12/202228/02/20233.002.00

    After some searching I have found an earlier article saying that the formula doesn't work for certain dates so have amended. Thanks
