Data entry shortcuts for copying and pasting into other Apps

I've forgotten the data entry shortcuts for copying and pasting into other Apps.
A few years ago I had a spreadsheet set up to enter in Excel, which I could then use to copy and paste into another App (Xero) where I added special characters in one column to denote TAB and more special characters in another column to denote ENTER, which was something like ^% or ~^, does anyone know what these are?
This isn't a simple ctrl c, ctrl p. It's for taking the place of 'tab' and 'enter' so that a list of data can be copied and pasted from Excel into another app (Xero) in one go, whereas if I would have to copy and paste one cell at a time if I used ctrl c, ctrl p to enter data into another app one item at a time
So in my example attached, I would select cells A2 to C3 in Excel, and paste it into the other app (Xero) and it would populate many rows, except I forgotten the characters that would take the place of tab and enter! Please help!
