See the attached sample workbook. I created a lookup table on the second sheet (Languages).
On the first sheet, I created both an XLOOKUP formula (for Excel in Microsoft 365 and Office 2021) and a VLOOKUP formula (for older versions).
Remark: the lookup table on the second sheet is only intended as an example. If anyone is offended by it, I apologize in advance.
