creating log of stock prices in a day

I want excel to creat a table of share prices with timestamp so that I can then analyse trends. I have been able to get the real time ( 5 minute delay) share price which is updated automatically. But at the end of the day, If I wish to see how the price moved and plot trend chart, then I need excel to record periodic data in an array with time stamp. Later I will extend this idea to multiple scrips of my portfolio
