Could not find installable ISAM. reporting udpate

Question

Hi folks, does somebody know how to resolve the following issue?

I have a workbook which use a external excel data to generate a report. Each day I need to update the data in that report, so what I was thinking on doing is updating that source data with the new one by just replacing it i.e. keeping the location and name the same.

The problem is that when I go to power pivot and try to refresh the external data a message like the following pops up:

Could not find install able ISAM.

I guess that I have to perform some prior setups on the location´s path before exporting the first raw data so then I won´t have any issues replacing it with new one. Again, I want to keep the name and location the same, only the content have to be changed.

Hi,&nbsp;Thanks for the reply. The issue was due the worksheet´s tab name which was not the same as the original´s one. It seems that when replacing a raw data, both the file´s and sheet´s tab name have to match the original´s.&nbsp;&nbsp;Diego Martinez&nbsp;
