Copying formatting while referencing cell

Good Day, 

This may have a simple solution, which would actually be great! Without getting caught up in too much detail- I am managing a fleet of vehicles of over 180 pieces and am documenting relevant information (Driver's assigned, vehicle unit #, Equipment Type #, etc.). 

My first sheet contains the most extensive table displaying my information. I have created a second sheet to show a condensed version of sheet 1. 

Sheet 2 needs to reference the corresponding cells in Sheet 1- including formatting. So they will not overlap perfectly as sheet 2 has several columns removed from the sheet 1 template.  As tedious as it sounds, in sheet 2 I went cell by cell referencing the specific cell from sheet 1 one by one. 

How can I emulate sheet 1 onto sheet 2 so that when I change sheet 1, sheet 2 will follow in kind?
