Copying data

hello, I'm trying to copy data from an external table, I saw some suggestions to upload by the option " From picture " in Data section but I don't have this option on my current version , Help is appreciated.

  • Considering the below alternatives:

    1. Using "Get & Transform Data" (Power Query)

    1. Go to the Data tab in Excel.
    2. Select "Get Data".
    3. Choose the appropriate source (e.g., "From Web", "From Text/CSV", "From Database", etc.).
    4. Follow the prompts to connect to your data source and import the data.

    2. Copy-Paste Method

    1. Copy the data from the external table.
    2. Paste it into Excel. If you want to keep the formatting, use "Paste Special" and select the appropriate option (e.g., "Text").

    3. Import Data from Web

    1. Go to the Data tab.
    2. Select "Get Data" > "From Other Sources" > "From Web".
    3. Enter the URL of the web page containing the table.
    4. Follow the prompts to import the data.

    4. Using Text to Columns

If your data is in a text file or copied from a web page:

    1. Paste the data into Excel.
    2. Select the column with the data.
    3. Go to the Data tab and select "Text to Columns".
    4. Follow the wizard to split the data into columns.

  • Option is available only for 365 subscribers.

However, even if available, it's better to use, where possible, other ways to import data. This one is not reliable.
