Considering the below alternatives:
1. Using "Get & Transform Data" (Power Query)
- Go to the Data tab in Excel.
- Select "Get Data".
- Choose the appropriate source (e.g., "From Web", "From Text/CSV", "From Database", etc.).
- Follow the prompts to connect to your data source and import the data.
2. Copy-Paste Method
- Copy the data from the external table.
- Paste it into Excel. If you want to keep the formatting, use "Paste Special" and select the appropriate option (e.g., "Text").
3. Import Data from Web
- Go to the Data tab.
- Select "Get Data" > "From Other Sources" > "From Web".
- Enter the URL of the web page containing the table.
- Follow the prompts to import the data.
4. Using Text to Columns
If your data is in a text file or copied from a web page:
- Paste the data into Excel.
- Select the column with the data.
- Go to the Data tab and select "Text to Columns".
- Follow the wizard to split the data into columns.
