Copy one cells value if another cell has certain text.

Hi all, this is my first post as I'm at a loss as to if this is possible and I'll do my best to explain.

I have lots of different text in a column which has a value in another column eg. 

               A                   B         C...

1   [ I have text here ][ £35 ][ £0.00]  "excuse the crudeness"

I would like to, if possible, copy cell B1 if cell A1 has the word "text" in it and paste it in cell E1 for example?

A little long winded I know and there's probably an easier way of asking but any help would be appreciated.
