copy cell data from other sheets
- Jan 06, 2022
Paste Link
Reference to the source cells instead of the copied cell contents.
Select copy area,
right mouse button and copy.
Go to the desired worksheet,
select the starting cell,
right mouse button,
paste content ...,
further paste options,
paste link (N).
Should be copied with reference cell :).
Hope I was able to help you with this info.

- pmrkrrFeb 09, 2022Copper ContributorThank you, but this I have tried. It does not copy the formula right for the other sheets. It takes it from the wrong cells.
I do not know how to get one specific cell always to corresponding cell on the other sheets so that I would not have to make the formula one by one by hand.
The point is that when I fill out the for example the name off my customer in sheet one, it would transfer the info automatically to sheet 2 and 3 and maybe 4.- NikolinoDEFeb 09, 2022Platinum Contributor
Is the link on merged cells?
If this not helps…
With your permission, I recommend to provide more information.
You'll get a quicker and more accurate answer, and those who want to help don't have to invest time guessing the problem.
I recommend: Always inform about your Excel version, operating system, storage medium/hard drive, OneDrive, Sharepoint, etc.).
If possible, add a file (without sensitive data) and use this file to describe your project step by step, or add photos with the appropriate description. In this case, a file (without sensitive data) would be very beneficial.
Don't forget that not every Excel user has a clue about every job and what you see he can't see.
Thank you for your understanding and patience
