Convert Column Of URLs To Hyperlinks

I know this is real late, but I just got one working then copied the format to the rest of the cells. I had over 500 and it worked. (Excel 365)

1. I had just copied a link into cell a1.
2. Clicked into the formula bar.
3. Hit Ctrl+a, so it selected the text.
4. Hit Enter.
5. The text is now a hyperlink.
6. Right click on a1
7. Select Format Painter, (Paint brush icon)
8. Then select the cells you want to act the same.
