Conditional Formatting for entire row based on data in one cell
I am attempting to highlight the whole row yellow if "High" is listed in column B. My conditional formatting formula is shown below and I'm not sure why it's not working. Column B is data validation, allow: list and the source is a selection from the sheet titled Priority.
=$B1="High"
This rule for conditional formatting works in my sheet.
=$1:$500
This is the range the format applies to.
